SoluForce and Groningen Seaports will jointly construct an infrastructure for the transport of green hydrogen in Delfzijl and the Eemshaven. SoluForce supplies the SoluForce Gas Tight pipe system and Groningen Seaports takes care of the construction. Hydrogen can provide an important solution for fluctuations in the green energy supply. Although currently hydrogen is still very expensive, the use of SoluForce Flexible Composite Pipes will significantly reduce the cost of hydrogen transportation and usage.
In the contest, SoluForce and Groningen Seaports took on Stercore and Enerpy. Stercore makes sustainable energy from manure and digestate from co-digesters, without generating waste. Enerpy converts organic waste streams into raw materials using radiolysis, a technology that is similar to pyrolysis.
