From August 29 to September 3 2022 SoluForce was a participant of the Innovation Mission to South Korea, organized by the Dutch government. The mission focused on various hydrogen innovations within the hydrogen space, including cryogenics, fuel cells and transport. It included an exhibition at H2Meet, various visits and networking events. At the 2022 H2Meet Hydrogen Exhibition and Conference in South Korea, SoluForce was able to present themselves as part of the NL Pavilion. During this event, SoluForce also managed to win the "H2 Innovation Award 2022", because of its contribution to the development of the Korean hydrogen industry with its innovative technologies.
South Korea and The Netherlands are important players in the field of hydrogen: large sectors in chemistry, energy and industrial innovation are well developed over the whole chain, backed by private investments and public support. With this as background the Dutch government organized an innovation mission to South Korea from August 29 to September 3 2022. Professionals from Dutch governments, companies, investors and knowledge institutes who are all active in the field of hydrogen joined this innovation mission to South Korea.
The trade mission had a full and interesting program, with visits to a research center, hydrogen pilot city and various networking opportunities.
Hydrogen is in the spotlight of the international energy developments; it is seen as an essential building block in the energy transition and it can help to create a new, fully sustainable economy. A long-term substantial position of hydrogen however requires new policies, new investments, new technologies and innovations, new financial and regulatory frameworks, and new partnerships to make hydrogen value chains successful. Trade missions and events like these are an excellent tool to achieve that.
